Jay Billings is the CPR Team’s Pinellas retail specialist, with experience in the industrial space as well.
Jay attended Missouri State University for Sales Marketing and Management. After school he worked for a marketing firm where he was a brand ambassador for a Fortune 500 company in the retail industry. He leverages that time in the CRE world by completely understanding his clients. With this grasp of who his client is and their need, Jay can then apply his market knowledge and deal prowess to best serve his clients.
Jay’s has a great depth to his client list. It includes closed deals with national retailers like WingStop, as well as, represented local tenants opening their first business. Jay enjoys finding creative ways to problem solve in an effort to complete transactions with all parties feeling like they were heard and represented well. He looks forward to continuing fostering relationships he has built with tenants and landlords alike.
Jay is an active member in the Tampa Bay Retail Alliance. He is also a member of the St Petersburg Young Professionals group.
Jay has partnered with Harrison Gault to form a team to service Pinellas County Retail with a focus on St Pete.
In his free time, Jay enjoys golfing, boating, exercising, and watching sports. He is continuing to become more involved in the community with commercial real estate and philanthropic groups.
If you could be any kitchen utensil which, would you be? Why?
A whisk. I like problem solving, and a whisk takes multiple ingredients, mixes them together to get the desired outcome.
What would be the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?
A stake in a sports franchise.

Go to Sicily.
